Easter Gift Ideas

Easter

Easter was always a big deal during my childhood and I feel it has become a little overlooked these days.  I remember egg-hunting in the garden and hoping to find the Easter bunny hiding somewhere in amongst my mother’s crocuses.

It is coming up to Easter and I have been wondering what little Easter Gifts to buy my kids, nieces, nephews and various Godchildren whose ages range from newborn baby to toddler.  It seems that I always spend a lot of time and money on Christmas gifts and Birthday gifts which is my pleasure but means that inevitably, these gifts are just one of many and with all the parties and festivities the presents just join the pile along with everyone else's.  I do not need much of an excuse to buy a gift for the little people in my life and I think Easter is a perfect time to buy a baby or toddler gift to mark out this all too often forgotten lovely time of year.

Easter Eggs

So with great gusto, I decided it would be best to go out and look at what the shops had to offer. Amazingly, most of the offerings are made of chocolate. I suppose I could always settle for an Easter Egg, the predictable, sickly sweet, synthetic offering that will have the kids gorging themselves until they are practically bouncing off the walls and the parents hating me for giving them the forbidden fruit.  The alternatives are, as you would expect, non-descript rabbits and chicks or painted eggs – easily broken and forgotten about.  So nothing very exciting or special.

I really wanted to get them something different but memorably and unique.  I trawled the internet and struggled to find what I was looking for until I came across an amazing website www.babyfish.co.uk  Bingo!

Hopefully this will solve the problem of fighting over the chocolate easter eggs and it’s contents – and not an e number in sight!
