Bath time. For both child and mum, this can be either terrific fun or utterly traumatic.
In most households with little children all around the world, bath time is part of the going-to-bed routine. So at around five or six o’clock in the evening, mums, dads, grandparents or nannies are rallying the kids off to the bathroom to be hosed down from the day’s activities.
The warm bubbly water is just at the right temperature – tested either with the good old elbow test or the bath thermometer.
